THE BIRTH OF A PASSION
Over six decades ago, we had a vision: a sport that combines freedom, adventure and community. Cableskiing and wakeboarding were born from this vision. We wanted to give more people the opportunity to experience the joy of waterskiing without having to rely on a boat. So we developed the first waterskiing facility and opened up a completely new path.

The rise of the World Games
The World Games is an international multi-sport event that takes place every four years and includes sports that are not represented at the Olympic Games. It is a platform that brings together athletes from all over the world to compete and perform at the highest level in their respective disciplines. The moment cable waterskiing and wakeboarding were included in the World Games programme for the first time was a milestone in our history. It was recognition of our hard work and unwavering belief that this sport has the potential to inspire the world. Since then, cable wakeboarding has become one of the most exciting and dynamic disciplines at the World Games.
CHENGDU 2025: A NEW CHAPTER
Now, in 2024, a new chapter is about to begin. Chengdu, a city known for its rich culture and breathtaking scenery, will welcome the world’s best wakeboarders and waterskiers. The World Games will provide an unrivalled stage to celebrate the development of the sport and see how far we have come. The competitions will take place in a purpose-built World Games facility, which will be maintained to the highest standards and remain open to the local community after the competitions.
