Hip-Notics Cable Park in Antalya, Turkey, founded in 2008, is one of the most popular and successful cable parks in the world.
The park includes two RIXEN full size cables, two RIXEN 2-mast systems, accommodation directly at the facility, restaurant, hot tub, sauna, pool, beach area with volleyball court and even a small avocado and orange plantation.
"We chose RIXEN because we wanted to benefit from the experience of the inventor. When Bruno Rixen visited us a year after the installation and climbed up the mast was the final proof for us: with RIXEN we made the right decision." - Baris Özoral, manager Hip-Notics Cable Park

There is no comparable wakeboard facility in the middle of the mountains. AREA 47 is one of the largest extreme outdoor recreation parks in the world. Over 40 different sports are offered on more than 95,000m². The sight of the water in the Wake AREA gives you a Caribbean feeling and the sporting opportunities in the park and the surrounding area are unique: snowboarding and wakeboarding on the same day.
"From the beginning it was clear that we will work with RIXEN, because Bruno Rixen is after all "THE" pioneer in wakeboard facilities. We work closely with the ski resort in our valley. The idea behind our park is to bring more people to Ötztal in summer to fill the hotels that were originally built for winter. Since we also attract younger guests, it is also very attractive for parents to come to our region in summer. - Christian Schnöller, CEO Area 47
The Shun Yi Wake Park was built on the former regatta course of the 2008 Summer Olympics. Due to the special requirements of a regatta course, RIXEN developed a special solution that fits into the landscape of the former rowing area. For this purpose, our team invented a concept of free-hanging deflection pulleys, which is one of the biggest innovations.
"Together with RIXEN, we were able to answer all the questions that came from the authorities during the approval process. Because of RIXEN's prestige and years of experience, we received approval to build the plant in 2011." - Mr. Lin, owner Shun Yi Wake Park
Since a RIXEN Full Size Cable and a Master Basic were installed in 2009, the lake in London awoke from its slumber and transformed into a vibrant watersports hotspot and now one of the most successful cable parks in the world. High numbers of return visitors are guaranteed.
"Being in London, we have a huge potential of customers from the city of millions and tourists who can be with us in 10 minutes from the airport. It was foreseeable that we can only be successful in the long run with the best and most reliable equipment. That's why we chose RIXEN." - Stuart Marston, CEO Liquid Leisure
The Pampa Cable Park is located in the middle of nowhere in the forest of the Delta Islands of the Parana River near Buenos Aires.
"Since our infrastructure here in the forest is not very well designed, we were looking for Full Size Cables that would fully perform their functions and run reliably in any weather conditions. We consulted many operators and experts who have worked on Full Size Cables for years and unanimously got a recommendation for RIXEN. Now the Full Size Cable has been running for several years without any complications." - Luciano Chedrese, co-owner Pampa Cable Park

Waterski Langenfeld is the largest cable park worldwide with 4 full size cables, 2 two-mast systems, artificial surf wave, beach area, gastronomy and many other attractions. The first RIXEN facility was built there in 1976 on one of the many gravel lakes, for which a subsequent use was sought.
In the course of the years Langenfeld developed with 3 further plants to one of the well-known metropolises of the Wakeboardsport. The potential of the surrounding big cities, combined with good management and marketing and many other attractions created a large customer base and worldwide awareness. Many of these ideas were realized with the help of RIXEN as a reliable and innovative partner.
Sukay Park was built by the city of Bursa as a tourist attraction. The special feature is the island, which is accessible through a tunnel and can be rented for events. The rental of the island is a significant source of income, as this service is season-independent and the gastronomy benefits from it all year round. Within 8 years, 10 more such facilities were built in many cities in Turkey to make the regions more attractive and increase the recreational value of the city.
"As a city, we invested in tourism infrastructure to attract more tourists and at the same time provide attractive leisure facilities to the population. It also creates new jobs and increases tax revenue. For any city, a RIXEN water ski cableway is a worthwhile attraction and investment." - Recep Atepe, Mayor of Bursa
New Forest Water Park is a nationally known cable park in the southwest of England. In addition to the RIXEN wakeboard facility, the other attractions include a water park, StandUpPaddling, kayaking and an area for swimming.
"We chose RIXEN because they have the most experience, offer reliable technology and have complete safety packages that are the only ones to pass our stringent English Health and Safety checks. RIXEN brought us cable operators together. We all benefited from the exchange with each other as well as from the experience from Germany. This is a real added value for me." - Ben Jury, Owner New Forest Water Park

OCP is the only cable park in all of Catalonia. The lake was built at the time of the Olympic Games and used for the rowing competition. It is a beacon project for effective reuse of an existing site with sustainable investment for the operator.
"Our lake is a former open-cast lignite mine. The lake is extremely deep and the water particularly acidic. Special protective measures had to be designed for the extra-long masts. Due to the high complexity and the great technical challenges, we clearly only wanted to realize this special project with a professional. Thanks to RIXEN's experience, we were able to manage the complex approval process with the authorities together and successfully realize the plant." - André Böhme, owner Wake and Beach Halbendorf

It was 1966 when Humberto Armas decided to take a risk with an unknown sports project patented by Bruno Rixen.
Cable Ski Benidorm is the first water ski cableway in the world. Humberto chose Benidorm because of the crystal clear waters and the microclimate of this bay, when the Avenida del Mediterráneo was still a huge olive field. Thus, the first cable car in the world was born. In 2022, the installation will celebrate its 55th anniversary. In the meantime, 70,000 operating hours have been exceeded in 55 years in Benidorm alone, and the installation continues to operate successfully despite the most difficult operating conditions (in the sea, long season).
The ideas for the wakeboard facility and the water ski channel were presented to increase the number of club members joining the club and make it look more attractive.
"We chose RIXEN as our partner because of their experience and know-how as a world leader in water ski cableway operation. As our club is very exclusive, our customers expect only first-class attractions. From construction to design to safety, RIXEN has met and exceeded our standards. Because our partnership not only drove up membership numbers, but also increased demand for on-site construction land, we are planning a second water ski cableway. - Carlos Otero, owner Rancho Avandaro
The Hooksieler Skiterrassen is an event location on the German North Sea coast. In addition to water sports such as SUP, pedal boat or the beach area, there is a large water terrace with gastronomy, a wedding location and much more that the heart of tourists desires.
"Together with RIXEN, the facility was planned and built. Even today, they are an important partner when it comes to ensuring that the facility runs reliably. Be it through the supply of spare parts, consultations on technical processes or regular staff training sessions that contribute to a safe working environment." - Anja Seidl-Vogt and Hans-Ott Vogt, operators Hooksieler Skiterrassen
In Cap'Découverte, coal used to be mined by open pit mining. At the turn of the millennium, this was to be transformed from an unused hole in the ground into an attractive leisure center. In terms of investment, the Full Size Cable was only a small part of the overall project. In the end, however, the success of the leisure facility depends on this attraction. Around the RIXEN wakeboard facility, a ski lift with summer toboggan run, a mountain bike course, an aqua park with pedal boat and SUP rental were built. In addition, a covered high ropes course and a skate park as well as a camping site and a hostel with restaurant. A coherent overall concept was created and a small leisure paradise was created from a huge wasteland.
"When our cable was installed in 1964, it was a magnificent moment since it was one of the first RIXEN cableways in the world. Back in 1991, when our cable was converted from a 4-mast to a 5-mast system, we worked closely with Wolfgang Lunghamer. Today, 30 years later, he is still our contact and chief technician. It's really nice to have such a long-standing partnership with the team we trust for over 60 years.
Our water ski club now has 100 members. As many children visit us, our aim is to create an attractive meeting place for the younger generation and to contribute something good to the local community.
In 2022 we decided to renew our system from scratch because we want to have the best and state-of-the-art technology. All parts were replaced and refurbished. Let's say for the next 30 years, we are definitely well equipped." - Philippe Butty, co-owner Alphasurf Cablepark
"In 2004, the tourism manager of the town of Damp approached me that the town needed a new attraction. Damp is a vacation destination on the German Baltic Sea and a water ski as well as wakeboard facility is just the right tourism magnet. My brother built the neighboring campground and thus we have created an attractive offer for young guests, which of course also benefits the town. In the meantime, I have handed over the facility to my son. Several generations will be able to make a good living from the investment in the grounds, the lake, the buildings and of course the water ski facility. With his invention, Bruno Rixen has made a lifelong dream possible for my family and created a lucrative family business." - Cengiz Ögretici, founder Waterski Park Damp

"I am a very enthusiastic kitesurfer. When there was no wind on the Polish coast, I went to a cable park that was 2.5 hours away from Warsaw. This was one of the first parks in Poland. I was surprised that there were no Full Size Cables near the capital of Poland yet. So came my motivation to build a family friendly cable park in Warsaw. Then in 2013 I built my first cable park with two 2-mast systems - Wake Family Trzciany. In 2017 I managed to build the first and for now the only Full Size Cable near Warsaw. Visitors don't have to go far from Warsaw and my cable park helps to make contacts and friendships." - Marek Malachowski, operator Wake Family Brwinów and Trzciany
