Solar Wavebreaker – Tour de France

For the launch of our new product, the floating photovoltaics, we planned a tour through France. Cable owners from all over France were able to have a look at our Solar Wavebreaker at various cable parks. Particularly the cool design, the robustness and the excellent functionality can convince. After the first stop at Le Kable by FFSNW, a new RIXEN cable park in Paris, two weeks of Tour de France followed with a total of 16 stops.

Everywhere our experts team received a warm welcome. Initial scepticism quickly turned into enthusiasm. Our customers were able to marvel at the quality of the Solar Wavebreaker especially when touching and standing on the panels. The attendees were impressed by the flat, inconspicuous appearance of the solar panels, which are barely visible in the water.

And the wavebreaker function? We tested and confirmed this several times in the test laboratory and in the lake. Surprisingly, we also found out that ducks, geese and other birds avoid the Solar Wavebreaker. The result: 3 months in the lake and no contamination.

Our customers see the Solar Wavebreaker as a great opportunity to become independent of the currently volatile energy prices. Many applications for subsidies were submitted to the local authorities immediately after our visit, as there are currently lucrative subsidy opportunities for the leisure industry.

Since the product launch, we have received a lot of positive feedback and a lot of enquiries. The interest in the market is enormous.
